Slodder - Thanks for posting the article and showcasing this incredible diorama. A definite work of art.

Angela - What a fantasic and totally outstanding diorama. The theme really is so very well supported with it's interwoven little scenes enhancing the story. We've really made them all come through and the details bring it all to life. I'm totally blown away by all the effort and care taken in using your talents of weathering, highlighting, and skills in groundwork to bring out every detail. But what amazes me most is how you're able to make use of so many "common" items to do the "super" detailing; the PE items we can get through AM products you produce using cooking tins, bits of this and that, or pizza seasoning for leafs. And also thanks for the thanks, but truly I feel privileged to have been able to contribue even in a very small way to such an outstanding diorama. Can't wait to see your "Ardennes Campaign" diorama. Another article to come I hope?!

Great dio Angela, the ground work looks very realistic and all those figures look very cold. I can see why it took 8 months to complete well worth the wait. I await your next model.

Angela,

What can I say? Wow!

The pictures are fantastic, I especially love the B&W picture!
The feature is very well written... even for a poet... but where was the rhyming prose? :-) :-) :-) Jokes aside, the feature was an absolute pleasure to read!

Fantastic dio! Well done!

Angela, I just finished reading your article and looking at your pics. You have done an excellent job on your article and the dio speaks for itself. Both are fantastic!!! Your dio has details everywhere, it tells stories that all interact with each other and is very visually appealing. Excellent work. Your article is very descriptive and also informative which makes it very easy to follow and understand. You have done well Cheers Kevin

Thank you for the comments, people. This is quite an honor since this is my first dio and my first feature.

Actually, I thought it was not detailed enough. I would have added more supplies but I think that would defeat the purpose of having a scant amount of supplies in the emplacement.

Here are some more pics that were not included in the feature:

Thank you very much for you comments. This dio is dedicated to all of you who have made my stay in armorama an interesting one with a great learning experience.

I'll try to have my new dio "Reinforcements Have Arrived," my entry for the Ardennes Offensive campaign, to be in another Feature.

very nice dio, indeed. congrats on that. but maybe we should talk about the title. if that is supposed to be german, hm, just an arrangement of german words.
just tell me the title in english and i will translate it for you.

Very impressive work Angela. 8 month is a long time, but it was definitely worth the wait. The figures, the vehicles, the ground word etc. it all looks fantastic.

btw you should talk to Patrick/Foxy about the title.

Hi Angie,

what an amazing diorama !! I can feel the coldness by looking at it. Some of the photos shoot looks real and i think some of the shoot look like scenes from some PC games that i played.
Excellent diorama layout and weathering. And i like the way you details it by using household product.
congrats miss vampire!
