Thank you Plasticbatlle. The scale is 1/35. I´m sorry but it´s a German soldier from WW2 eastern front winter 1944 (Academy brand).

This looks great especially the rust streaks on the turret and the hull . Big thumbs up for that one :-) .Is that the guys permanent base cause I don't see any footprints.

I first learned to do rust that way 27 years ago. Glad to see some of the old techniques still work despite all this modern stuff. Really liked the info, I'm planning a winter sceme dio eventually and putting together ideas. I found that figure in Academy Battle of the bulge set, except he's got a rifle. (#1377)
