About Philippe (asmodeuss)
FROM: QUEBEC, CANADA

After a long leave of 15 years during wich I've studied biology and arts I went back to modeling. the feeling of peacefulnes and deep concentration was calling me once again, with the usual despair and sheer panic related with dml plans... Must be the cement fume but I can!t get away from this thing...

Philippe, this model looks great! I noticed you had stated the barrel was a little crooked. I like the fix with the figure next to it, you can't see it. Nice job.

That is a good model and I really like the bridge. The stug looks very clean though, like it has just entered combat, its well provisioned too. I am currently re-reading a book about the German Invasion of the Soviet Union and your model would fit very well with that scenario your Stug having just rolled across the Russian fronter. S

Hi Philippe. Very nice StuG and bridge. I like the stowage a lot on these as it adds extra interest. One thing I find odd though, is the composition. It looks weird to see the back side of the StuG hanging over the end of the bridge. Extending the bridge, or modelling the height where the bridge and groundwork meet, would have given so much more. Also showing some ground work where the bridge supports touch the groud would have also brought much to the scene. It just looks incomplete.

Thanks everyone! It is much apreciated Frank, it is indeed a part of a bigger dio I intend to build later this year. It will show a river bank, Surely river Kur, and a bergepanzer iv on the banks, covered by some trees. Or an artilery piece...not 100% sure yet. The figures will also be repainted since they are still just accessories to the stug. I`ll do some test for a couple of month with water effect and vegetation prior building the base. Thanks all. Phil.

@asmodeuss – Philippe, The vehicle, its stowage and the crew are well done pieces on their own, as is the bridge. I agree with Frank ‘Plasticbattle’ Glackin, in that, as your composition stands it looks incomplete, but I’m sure that will change once you’ve had time to place these pieces in their own environment. Looking forward to seeing more . . . ~ Eddy

I like it

but having the rear hanging off the end of the bridge is disturbing.

Thanks Eddy and Mailman. And again this is work in progres. One must imagine the rear of the tank on the river bank on a crossroad with a forest line. Wich water effect should I use? any advice on product or technique? Phil.
