Brock Hopkins III shares with us some images of his Warriors 1/16 Scale figure of Field Marshall Von Paulus, his entry in the August 2014 figure contest. The base is scratch built, and the snow used is a Christmas product. Brock painted the figure with a mix of Tamiya and Vallejo acrylics, and used oils for the face.

Who the heck was Field Marshall "Von Paulus"? The commander of the 6th Army at Stalingrad was Field Marshall Friedrich Wilhelm Ernst Paulus - no "Von" (or more correctly, "von") in that man's name.

Brock, very good job ! BWP is right about the name: von Manstein, yes. Von Rundstedt, yes. Von Paulus unfortunately, not. But the figure is perfect !!!
