This is the Trumpeter kit , a recent release and quite a straight forward build. It was constructed out of the box which included a nice aluminium barrel and a small etch fret.
Once the build was complete it was base coated and then pre shaded with black primer. This was followed by a base coat of Russian green was added using Vallejo Model Air allowing the shading to show through. Once dry it was sealed with Klear floor polish ready for the wash, first a black wash was added then pin washes of brown and finally black again.

As this was a prototype vehicle which had not seen combat chips, scratches & dents were left off. Weathering was restricted to some dust stains from trial runs and testing, well that was my thinking anyway. Tracks and other bare metal were done using my usual method and then some pigment dust added to tone them down slightly.

There you have it, as I have said before this was a straightforward build of an interesting vehicle and recommended if you are a fan of World War 2 Russian armour.
