Dragon 1/35 Pz Mk III J

  • move
John's recently completed Dragon 1/35 Pz Mk III, only his second armour build in many years, was built straight out of the box with the exception of adding the tool box on the left front fender and substituting DS tracks for the Magic Tracks (thanks to Panzerbob for those). The only MT's used were for the two sets on the front of the tank. The cupola was left open so he can add a figure a bit later on. John used Xtracolor RAL8000 for the base color and Tamiya "German Gray" for the camo splotching. Floquil Dust and some Gunze Mud were used for the weathering, etc. John used the ADH Publishing book "The Tartar Road" on the SS Wiking Division as his reference, and this tank is shown on page 14.
