Stephen is a big fan of German Paper Panzers, prototypes and what ifs and when he saw this he had to have it. Inside the box is every thing you need for a great kit, aluminium barrel, individual track links, clear periscopes, photo etch etc. Having done some research on the net he noticed that there were no vehicle's with a winter white wash, so this was the scheme he went for. After the build which went together with no problems it was primed and then base coated with Tamiya Dark grey, and added a Red brown cam this would show through the white later and add to the overall look. Stephen then used the hair spray method to achieve the worn winter whitewash look, first misting hair spray all over, then once dry adding the white, and when this was dry using an old tooth brush dabbed in water to gently scrub away parts of the white in random places on the vehicle until he was happy with the look. The rest of the weathering was done using Pigments, washes and filters.
