Abrams M1A2HA

  • move
This Abrams M1A2HA is a 1/72 Revell kit with the CMK stowage set. The stowage was designed to be used with Dragon's Abrams, so the rear of the turret had to be slightly modified to make everything fit. Blazey painted the model with Vallejo, Tamiya and Revell paints and weathered it using Mig Pigments and watercolor pencils. Various AK Interactive washes were also used.

There is no such thing as M1A2HA. The model is clearly M1A1HA, or maybe even plain M1A1 judging from early T156 tracks, although APU in the bustle rack suggests later version. It looks great, particularly in this scale. But it is important to get the nomenclature right too. EDIT: I just realized that the model has A2 style commander's weapons station, but no CITV is installed... So it doesn't represent any existing variant of the Abrams. Still: very nice "what if" model.

Impressive work for that small scale! Can't even tell it's 1/72, nice work

I'll be more precise about nomenclature of my models. Sorry about that, but I was so excited sending my photos that I just made a mistake. revell's Abrams was build straight from the box. I'm not a big Abrams fan so I just put it together and concentraced on weathering. I'm glad you enjoy it anyway.

I don't have to ask. I'm preety sure you've put them few times

It has nothing to do with the nomenclature you listed. It has the Commander's Cupola of an M1A2 and the rest of the tank is an M1A1, so it is neither. It is a just a really confused tank.

Disregard the RC's, sweet build man!

Great build. Smoke dischargers are not placed correctly.
