It's a great kit to build, I built mine for the Tamiya group build campaign, easy to go together and very accurate! It goes together just as easily as it's 1/35th variant, and I agree that 1/48 scale is perfect for modern military tanks, hopefully the rest of the industry catches on and starts to pump out kits in that scale.
