Looks like a nice kit that should build into another great addition to the display case. Gotta love Tamiya's engineering; it makes building almost anything enjoyable and not simply a detailed-oriented task.

New .50cal, nice! Now if we can just get Tamiya to stop molding periscopes closed we might be onto something.

Many thanks for this deep photo examination... few new parts from the M4A3AE8 ETO kit (ref 35346) but a new .50 cal. is welcome... like Brett pointed out closed periscope and molded on handles are a bit "old fashioned" but I will get this Sherman nevertheless... and the GAZ a nice bonus even if not brand new)
