Revell T-34/76 Soviet Army

  • move
Klaus used the ICM rebox of Revell of Germany's kit built straight OOB, except for the scratch built tow cables (made from braided copper wire) and the antenna. Paint is with K4 and Tamiya acrylics, weathering with artist oils and AK Interactive enamels plus K4 and Ammo of Mig pigments.

About Klaus Eberl (dexter059)
FROM: REGION DE VALPARAISO, CHILE

Active duty Chilean Navy Officer, close to 20 years of service. Happily married and 2 beautiful kids. I´ve been modelling on a regular basis since 1997. Mainly focused in "modern" armor in 1/35, but recently I’ve started with WWII subjects as well. Particularly keen on NATO and Chilean Armed Forces ...

Klaus, excellent work. The finish and weathering are effective and not overdone.

Really like the weathered green of the turret with the undercoat almost peeking through.

Thanks for your comments guys, glad you like it. I don’t model WWII subjects on a regular basis, in fact I built this one for use by Rick Lawler during the workshop he did on Latinmilitaire 2017 Model Expo and contest held in Santiago past May. Since I had it half done I decided to finish it, so maybe is not quite correct in a lot of things. But I was happy how it came out. The kit is very nice but for the 2 part vinyl tracks, so if anybody want to buy it, I strongly recommend to get aftermarket tracks. Cheers and happy modelling!!!
