Egyptian SU-100 Six Days War

  • move
A friend challenged Nikos to build the Zvezda kit to represent an Egyptian SU-100 from the Six Days War as accurately as possible. Nikos used aftermarket wheels and tracks by MiniArt, fenders, cupola and stowage boxes from Voyager, fuel tanks from MiG Productions, wire ropes from SKP and some scratchbuilding, most notably the searchlight guard, of which he is justifiably proud. The finished model was painted with Real Colors by AK Interactive. Nikos gave the model a preshade with black and a base coat of Egyptian Desert Sand and then weathered with oil colors and AK Interactive pigments.

About Nikos Brestas (GTDeath13)
FROM: ATTICA, GREECE / Ελλάδα

Mostly interested in modern armor and especially IDF vehicles. M48s and M60s are my main modelling interest, especially Magach versions. Some builds are superdetailed and some are just for the fun of finishing something. I also build ship models.
